Critique my Strategy Please

Get comfortable with the App before you go. If you get to a ride that you have a FP+ for, and the stand by wait is 5-10 minutes, use the stand by line, and modify the FP to something else with a longer wait.

I'm not sure how to do that. If I make FP won't I then use up the FP for my trip?

Which date are you going? Depending on the park hours for that day, if the park is open late into the evening or there is Evening EMH I would say push back your return time to MKP so you can actually enjoy your afternoon break at the hotel without feeling rushed. When you return you can go straight to Electrical Parade and then enjoy the park until close.

Not really possible with my kids. Keeping them up for the parade is a struggle. They are a little older this year so I'm hoping it will be a bit easier this time. Creature of habits and all ... Lol

Ok, the fact that you aren't sure how to do that proves my point. Practice playing with the app until you are comfortable with how to change a FP on the fly. You don't have to actually make the changes, but you know how to change the FP.

You may get to the Speedway and see that the standby wait is 10 minutes. But the Buzz Light year standby wait is 30 minutes. Using the App you can change the Speedway App to Buzz on the fly.

True. Good points. But, my question is ... If I make FP selections now, won't that use them up for my trip?? How do I go about making fake FP that don't interfere with my trip? I feel this was the biggest fault in my last trip. I did not use the app on the fly, and actually let FP expire, instead of switching them. You are 100% right, I should practice. I just do t know how ...

I am suggesting you go on the app. Click on "Fast Pass"...Click "Modify FP" and modify your least valuable FP (by the looks of it, your Speedway FP). Change it to something else. Then change it back.


DO NOT MESS WITH YOUR 7DMT FP!!!

Oh, I was confused too. By you first post I was under the impression that you had made your FP already
