Hello friends!

I'm headed back to Disney in 59 days - it's only my second trip, but I immediately became obsessed. I'm upgrading to an AP when I arrive, but boyfriend isn't planning to return before 2020/2021 so we're doing a few "extra" things (birthdays, Xmas, and Valentine's Day presents were all Disney add-ons...like I said, obsessed). I expect the crowds will be rather insane compared to my late-August trip, and since it's a longer trip, I want to actually relax and do some of the things other than rides (but that's hard for me).

I'm in the planning phase where I've made the first round of ADRs and FPs, but I'm tweaking them obsessively and accept any advice or suggestions! Am I missing a dining experience you'd recommend? Should I switch to a more useful FP somewhere? Are my logistics logical? I'm sort of planning backwards and while I think the second half of the trip covers stuff Eric wants to do, I'm lost when it comes to solo adventuring.

Friday April 19: flight arrives 6pm; haven't decided on transport yet but will hopefully drop my stuff at ASMus and head to Disney Springs. (Last time, we ate at Homecomin' but barely saw any of the shops or anything else) What do??

Saturday April 20: Take Minnie Van (just because I haven't yet, and I'll be alone) to Bon Voyage Breakfast at 7:45. Will this be enough time to rope drop Epcot, if I offer to pay when I order? Is meeting the characters solo awkward?

I'm planning to ride Frozen as early as possible, then head to my FP at Soarin' at 9:15 and Living with the Land, Spaceship Earth FP 10:15, Mission Space (green - haven't ridden this yet) 11:25. I'll fit in Figment and maybe Pixar somewhere in there if I have time.

Then I might get lunch at the F&G booths, or ride Gran Fiesta Tour. I don't know whether I should stay in Epcot or hop over to DHS. I've never seen Illuminations but have plans to see it later in the trip. I didn't especially like Fantasmic, but I didn't see any of the DHS shows last time or eat at any of the restaurants (just did TSL and Fantasmic). We'll be doing EMM for TSL later in the trip and riding Star Tours.

Or should I plan something else? I did see Trader Sam's last time and could return and watch fireworks from the beach

Sunday April 21: Easter. Expecting crazy crowds. 8:05 PPO at Crystal Palace, still solo, and some FPs in MK in the early morning. (7DMT 10:00, BTMRR 11:05, Jungle Cruise 12:20) Considering afternoon tea and maybe a massage at GF (I haven't been there).

Monday April 22: Potentially going to DAK in the morning so I don't "overdose" on EP/MK before boyfriend arrives. He'll be flying into MCO at 10:16. We might have lunch somewhere, or meet in the MK and watching Happily Ever After.

Tuesday April 23:
Maybe a waterpark? I'm not a huge fan, but boyfriend likes them, and I'm making a vain attempt at slowing down. Maybe Hoop Dee Doo (ideally 6:15)? I also have FPs at AK this day which I will cancel if we decide not to go there.

Wednesday April 24: EMM at TSL, then Star Tours. Possibly stay to do a couple other things at DHS...lunch? We have FPs in MK (7DMT 3:15, BTMRR 4:25, Haunted Mansion 5:30) and a reservation for Storybook Dining at Artist Point at 7:10. What time should we leave MK and how? Ferry?

Thursday April 25: Keys to the Kingdom tour at Magic Kingdom (8:30) which supposedly includes lunch (quick breakfast at the resort first?) and then head over to Epcot. We have FPs for Soarin' (3:30), Spaceship Earth (4:30), and Mission Space (5:30). We're doing the dessert party so we have Frozen covered. We have dinner tentatively scheduled for 5:55 at Spice Road Table, but I'm thinking of canceling it so we get the most out of the dessert party.

Friday April 26: PPO Breakfast @ Tusker House 8:10; hoping to rope drop NRJ before 9:20 FOP FP, Kali River (10:20), and DINOSAUR (11:20). I'm not positive that I want to ride Everest again (it's beautiful but right on the edge of too thrilling for me - honestly I screamed the whole time on FOP but it's so awesome that I'll deal with the realistic drops).

We have an ADR for The Edison at 7:30 but aren't married to it.

Saturday April 27: PPO Garden Grill, but no FPs booked because I can't yet with my tickets (I'm upgrading to an AP just for myself when I arrive, but only 7 day tix for now).

Sunday April 28: Cali Grill Brunch 11:30. Will modify to make this later if a space opens up, but I'm not sure that will happen.

We want to fit in a trip to Sanaa somewhere in there, and maybe Yak and Yeti.
We haven't seen ROL yet but have heard mixed reviews; nor have we seen Pandora at night.
We don't need to do all the character breakfasts if we can figure out alternate crowd-avoidance strategies.

Thoughts?

Two thoughts:

Your Easter PPO will probably not be a PPO. Expect MK to open earlier that day and to also add an EMH into the mix.

Why no Test Trak??? You can always do single rider line, but I'd be tempted to get a FP for it somewhere in there.

Ah, good point! I forgot about this.

I didn't enjoy TT on my last trip. I might have enjoyed it before I was old enough to drive, but it's too realistic for me! Definitely not worth planning around, for me.
