BACK TO WORK  :guilty:

I was just wondering...Do you really think you are going to be able to get up before 8am after those nights where you are at the parks till 12/1am? By the time you get back to your resort and get changed and to bed you are only looking at a few hours or so of sleep before you have to get up again. I think you will be mighty tired. :faint:

The only thing that looks especially tough to me would be the late night at Epcot on your first day, followed by an early rise. Other than that, looks doable to me.

LOL- good point. DH, definitely not a problem. He is an early riser, even if he goes to bed late. he is up at 7am on weekends and 5am on weekdays (and we have no kids forcing us to get up). I on the other hand, love my beauty rest, but at WDW, I manage to be bright eyed and bushy tailed and up early (yes, i am commando!). so it shouldn't be a problem- i've built in 2 hour breaks most days so i can nap or just relax at the pool to recharge. so i am hoping we will be fine. but we can be flexible and sleep in if we need to. this is kind of our 'maximum' all out schedule. we probably won't stay through all of EMH.

The only thing I would recomend is cut all the park hopping out of the plan. If you're already at a park, why waste time traveling to another one. Especially if you have the time to see them all. Just my $0.02.

Yeah, I would totally leave out that whole 'back to work' part.

Seriously though, be sure to leave plenty of time between eating and making it to parades/shows/fireworks...remember, you can't usually just walk up and catch them last minute.

MY DH and I are going to be there around the same time as you for our 30th anniversary and our plan is very similar, including carriage rides and other suprises my DH has planned and I'm trying to figure out. :rotfl:

We aren't in our early 30's and we are the worn out parents of 4 DD's 3 of them teenagers..

So if we can do it..you can bet you can! :thumbsup2

we enjoy the variety of doing two different parks in a day. at least I do anyways. hubby will just follow along. since we have a car, we don't have to wait on buses, so getting these is easy and quick. we are fast walkers too. We are trying to maximize our park time best we can, and sometimes with EMHs, that means park hopping. I don't even remember spending a full day at one park ever. Plus we already paid extra for the hopping, so we better use it! thanks for the feedback, it is a good idea.

yeah, the back to work thing is bummer, huh? :confused3 :teeth:

another great point to keep in mind.

we will be skipping all afternoon parades. Fantasmic, I am not waiting for, we will try and walk up 15 min prior and if we don't get in, we don't get in. It's not a favorite of mine. Illuminations, we always stand, so we can catch that at the last minute too.

Basically I refuse to spend an hour saving a spot to watch a parade (since we have no kids)- we usually just walk up and manage to find a good spot anyways, especially spectro in frontierland. We always stand, so finding a seat isn't that big of a deal. and i've always managed to get a decent viewing spot for WISHES and Illuminations at the last minute (not sitting of course). I've seen them all countless times so it's not a huge loss if we miss one. I really want to be sure that DH sees WISHES.

DH isn't a big show person, so we won't be seeing many of the shows either, unless we just have extra time. We'll probably pass on FOTLK and things like that---i've seen it as recently as December, so it's not a huge deal. I know the show times can throw a wrench in the schedule.

thanks!! :goodvibes :thumbsup2

The only thing I would suggest is to take out some of the going back to the resort for rest/swim/naps. Maybe a couple of days of going back but not every day.
