Is this to much?? :) CRITIQUE ME DISER'S!

Day 1: MK

Lunch- LTT (OP)
Dinner- Ohana

Day 2: DHS

Lunch: 50's
Dinner: cs somewhere

Day 3: Epcot

Lunch- Le Cellier
Dinner- Via Napoli

Day 4: DAK

Breakfast: Tusker House (OOP)
Dinner: 1900 Park Fare

Day 5: MK

Dinner- Whispering Canyon

I have no idea where I will spend the cs credits. I'm not a huge fan of the cs options. Am I insane for paying for 2 meals oop? Is this to much food, for a 5 day trip??

If I had to cancel some, which ones would you cancel?

I don't like to book to TS meals in the same day just because it leaves you with two "hard stops" to work around. Maybe it would be okay if one of the meals is a very early breakfast. Your restaurants all look great and logical for the itinerary but I think I'd toss a couple out in favor of some CS options and give yourself a little more touring freedom.

Your Day 4 doesn't look too bad with the breakfast/dinner combo, especially since AK closes early. Days 1 and 3 might be a little much.

THanks for your reply! I have been considering dropping LTT. I really want to try le cellier and my dbf is a pizza freak, so that day seems like so much food, but we can't come to an agreement. yikes! :confused3

Looks good to me, as long as there's plenty of time between lunch/dinner between LTT and 'Ohana. 'Ohana is so filling, I'd make sure lunch is either really early, or very light!

I think if you make LTT for a early lunch if the menu is really appealing to you, we always do a CS in MK because we like the choices MK has to offer, but would love to try LTT someday, but go to Ohana's HUNGRY!

Epcot day, I would make sure the same thing,(early lunch) LeCellier is certaintly worth it for lunch, and if BF is a pizza freak, I would give him that

As far as Tusker House breakfast we love it there, so i say go for it.

Never been to 50s Prime Time, food does not sound appealing to me!

Whispering Canyon good food, not great.
1900 Park Fare again good food, not great.

I would check prices because the breakfast is not that cheap, you may be able to get pizza at Via Napoli cheaper than the cost of breakfast, of course unless you wanted desserts from there, but Epcot has such great choices, get dessert else were.

Day 1: MK

Lunch- LTT (OP) - We love this and it can be very reasonable OOP. Just get Tavern Cheese and Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. No one says it has to be a full meal if you are not using DP
Dinner- Ohana - not my favorite, but lots of people like it.

Day 2: DHS

Lunch: 50's - never been.
Dinner: cs somewhere

Day 3: Epcot

Lunch- Le Cellier - my husband's favorite. Just try to get the earliest ADR time and this shouldn't be too much food in one day.
Dinner- Via Napoli - my son's favorite. If you get the earliest at Le Cellier, try for the latest here.

Day 4: DAK

Breakfast: Tusker House (OOP) - We love Tusker House. Fav breakfast of WDW
Dinner: 1900 Park Fare - never been, but for the character interaction, it has made my list for upcoming trip.

Day 5: MK

Dinner- Whispering Canyon - If I had to drop one, this would be it. We have been twice and while it's okay, I don't have to have it. Maybe you could flip Ohana to this night so you don't feel so full on the LTT day?

Love this suggestion..... might think of squeezing it in myself

We think CS meals are just as filling as TS meals, if you don't have appetizers. I never understood why people say 2 TS meals a day are too much food, but not 1 CS & 1 TS. IMO, most of the CS meals are large portions. TS does take a bit more time, but not a substantial amount at non-signature restaurants. Obviously, we prefer TS. I don't think 2 TS meals are too much food in a day. 3 TS meals would be too much for us, but so would 3 CS meals.

Yes - I do agree with this as well...

GREAT JOB OP! Great plan ! The most time wasted traveling it looks like you will do will be your AK day with Park Fare (but I'm doing the same way with my upcoming trip... My AK day is my HDDR day)

Sounds like you will be on the dining plan....but doing some OOP meals as well... agree with PP... don't feel you have to do a full meal... with OOP... last time with DS I ordered 3 appys to share with DS at Yak & Yeti....

The CS I enjoyed the most with Fam of 5 at DHS has been between RNR and ToT there is an area called Sunset Ranch Market. Albeit it is outdoors however there are many options there for CS and Catalina Eddies has a delicious Hot Italian Sub .... kids chose between chicken, turkey leg, hot dogs, hamburgers salads, etc.

50's Prime Time... did May 2010 and was my fav meal of the day The Pot Roast ! (Sigh) I always said "I don't want comfort food on vacation" ate my words that day... LOL....

LOVE Le Cellier and O'hana.... and did have a blast at Whispering Canyon however DS and I did Breakfast there.....

Have a magical visit !

Mary

Glad I could help someone. This will be our first time going OOP on food and I am determined to make it Disney My Way. But in a sweet, magical way of course.
