Hello everyone, This question may be a little off topic of disney but it has to do with weddings so I thought I would ask. I recently bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal and I didn't buy the crinoline they put me in when I was trying on the dresses so I am trying to find one that is reasonable priced. Does anyone know where I could get one for a good price? I am looking for the 2-tired medium full crinoline. I can put up a pic of my dress if you need me to. Thanks!

I got mine on ebay for $35... it was the exact same one from DB with the tags and everything.

I was just on ebay browsing the davids bridal stuff for sale and I saw a lot of differant sizes. I hope that you can find yours!

That is what I shouldve done instead of speading a fortune!

I got mine on ebay also, for 13.95 and then 9.00 shipping. Brand new with tages (and the satin on the inside). Take a look!

How much is crinoline if you buy it at a bridal salon?

At Davids Bridal the a-line crinoline is $49 and the ball gown crinoline is $59. If you get it the day you buy your dress you will get some discount on it.

another vote for ebay. I got my 3 hoop hoopskirt there. A super full crinoline (which is what I wanted, hence I went with the hoopskirt for less bulk) would have cost me about $100 at the salon. I'm pretty sure I paid about $20 on ebay!

Okay, this is a stupid question, how do you know if you need a crinoline? My dress has some tulle under it to poof it up, but I think I might want it a little more poofy, but not sure.

Also, is there a difference between A line and Ballgown crinoline?

not stupid. you need a crinoline if you want the extra pouf. an A-line crinoline is different than one you'd use under a ballgown. If you have a ballgown, I highly recommend a hoopskirt, because those large crinolines are really heavy and bulky. A hoopskirt keeps all that dress off your legs.

if you look up angelsbridal on ebay, they have all kinds. I bought mine there.

They also told me that it is good to have so when you are walking down the isle your dress doesnt stick between your legs and you end up looking like Aladdin or genie.

Hahah that made me laugh. I could just picture an elegant bride walking down the aisle----with her skirt up between her legs. :rotfl2:
