hi my sister and her bf are hoping to go out to florida next year. The only problems is he was a bit of a idiot in his younger days (14,15,16) and has a crimminal record. He never went to court about anything. So my question is what crimes stop you getting a visa?

Don't worry :flower:
If he was under 18 at the time there's no need for a visa - according to the Embassy's rules and regs :cloud9:

Another question. I had a driving conviction for driving without due care and attention which happened 15 years ago. It is no longer on my driving licience but will it be a problem?

Thanks.

I don't think minor driving offences where you just received a fine and didn't appear in court or were arrested affect you when using a visa waiver.

Thanks for the information

What about an ABH? I have tried finding info but so far nothing.

Apprently my brother-in-law got an ABH but only went to court. It happened about 10 to 15 years ago and he would have been between 17 and 23

If you are arrested you need a visa.

If you are convicted of something you need a visa.
