Criminal Minds last night?

Anyone see this? I caught the last 10 minutes but I think I figured it out. Someone please recap for me!

Emily went AWOL to go after Doyle. Team figured it out and tried to track her down. Doyle got to her first, tortured her for a bit. We found out she was engaged to Doyle, and that Doyle had a son from a previous relationship who he wanted Emily to raise so he could be an IRA soilder like Dad. Emily would not do it. She staged the boy's death to get him out, and let Doyle think he had been killed. Team busts in and resuces her, but she was critically hurt. They get told she didn't make it, but only JJ knows she went underground.

Actually Hotch knew too because he spoke to Emily outside of the hospital doors and then when he looked at JJ at the funeral he looked like he knew something. Great episode!

Ahhh.... I was wondering why he looked at her.

I liked Emily, was this the way they wrote her off the show for now?

I knew as soon as JJ wouldn't let Reed go to Emily's body that she was going into hiding. But before that i sure cried when Morgan kept telling her he was proud and keep squeezing his hand.

Thank you! I came in on the scene where she was being tortured and the team comes in. I figured it out (the ending) but was a little confused.
