No worry. I don't buy things online from other countries and I only shop online at reputable sites. I don't give my credit card number over to just anyone.

Another reason not to buy anything electronic from another country is because warranties usually only apply to that country. Especially cameras etc.....

All the carts that the company was selling were names of cricut cartridges. The carts didn't fit US cricut machines. The company that was selling the carts were in Canada. When my friend bought a cart from the company she went to use it and the "prongs" didn't line up in her machine.The company did refund her money because they didn't know that Canada and US machine were different.

Now I only buy my carts from cricut, michaels, acmoore or online stores that I have bought from in the past.

Wow, I had no idea that the Cricut machines were different in Canada. Also good information to have. So the cartridges were actually made by Cricut, or some company that was making cartridges that were advertised to be used with the Cricut machine?

The only reason I'm asking is because I use Sure Cuts A Lot which was sued (along with Make the Cut) by Cricut because it was a computer software program that allows you to design images on your computer and then cut them with a Cricut machine. I was shocked (and irritated) that Cricut won the lawsuit because to me it was was like Apple suing E-music because you could buy music from E-music and play it on your Ipod. But I would completely understand Cricut suing a company making the actual cartridges and selling them for use with a Cricut.

If the cartridges she got were made by Cricut, then that's one thing, but if they aren't, I wonder if Cricut is aware that this other company is out there?

I have to say that I LOVE Sure Cuts a Lot for the Cricut but you can still use it with the Silhoutte and Pazzles.

I'm Canadian and have a machine bought in Canada and the new expression II bought online from the us both of my machines take the same cartridges. I have bought carts at stores in canada, the states and online from the states with no problems. Maybe those carts were made in china?!
