Cricut Colors

Is anyone else using these? I am loving them! It took a little figuring out, but I love that I can draw, then cut on the drawn lines so I have a nicely outlined cut.

If you don't have them, look into them... they are fun!

I just got them for Christmas but haven't opened them yet. I'm excited to try them just need to find the right thing to try them with on a layout.

How do you draw then cut it out? It's probably very simple, but I can't figure it out.

First you draw your image, then without unloading the paper, switch out the marker for the blade housing. (you will want to then adjust your speed and pressure) Then press "load paper" which will take you back to the beginning of the page, press repeat last and cut. Voila! I hope that makes sense.

It cuts out everything you drew with the marker so it is nicely outlined. Since I do the Birthday Bulletin Board at my son's school it is so nice not to have to cut a black shadow for everything to give it a nice edge. Not to mention how nicely it highlights all of the 'detail' cuts on shape cartridges.

I got these for Christmas too and have been trying to figure out the 'right' thing to use them on. Thanks for the info on how to draw and then cut.

Thanks Disneyamy for the info on how to work these things. I did it once, even read the instructions and still could not get it to work just right. I will try it again with your instructions.
