cricut cards ?

morning everyone! for those of you that are stuck in the house due to the weather like me i have a questions for you about making a card on one of my cricut carts. i want to make one of the cards on the joys of the season cartridge and i have the one i want picked out but is there an envelope to make for it? is that what's on page 79? it likes like a fan kinda? sorry to sound dumb, but i've never used my cricut to make a card before. this is my 1st attempt. and does it have to be cut bigger than my card?

I don't have that cart. so I don't know if the fan looking thing is the envelope, but I do know that if you make a card that is sized for say 6 inches, you make the envelope also for 6 inches because the cricut knows to cut the envelope slightly larger. Hope that helps a little.

i made the holly one and the one envelope was not big enough and one was. one was like an atm sleeve looking thing. if you know what i mean. and i love how it cut the holly out in the circle but i could not figure out how to cut the holly leaves out in green to layer it. so instead i just cut out a plain card and then cut the holly out and glued it on the front of the card. i wanted to make them for gift cards and when I was at Michaels they had really nice gift card holders, so I picked them up instead.
I told Dh that I'd love to make some christmas cards over the summer for next year. And his reply was, "you probably wont be able to find them next year becuase you'll put them somewhere *safe*!!"
and he's right!
