cricut accent essentials cart.

hi ladies,
well my very sweet DH bought me the new cricut expression machine its awesome - i cut a 12" mickey to hang on my DS door - it very cute-
well anyway I have the accent essentials cart that comes with it - and it is just not my cup of tea. So if someone would like to trade me for it - lets talk.
You can only get this cart with the new expression. Right now its being sold on ebay for 150.00

i would love to come to the crop - and will travel with my little cricut - the big one is BIG!!
let me know when and where the next crop is.
how do you guys get anything done there? I have a hard enough time getting pages done by myself in my craft room with all my stuff right there - i would hate to have to pack it all up to travel (23 cricut carts dont travel well )
as for the trade -
I am looking for my community and my world
i can sell it on ebay for $150.00 but would just rather trade it. i havent sold on ebay before.

I just got an Expression a couple of weeks ago--the day ACMoore had them on sale. I saw the thread here on the DIS, and told DH about it. He said, "OK, let's go." I just looked at him like he was crazy. He said, "No, I know enough to know that's a good deal. Let's go." I love the Expression!!

I haven't tried Accent Essentials yet, but I saw My World and My Community on the Cricut board. I'm going to have to get those!

Ok I have to ask coz I so want my DH to get me a cricut expressions - how much was it on sale? I've seen it for around $370 at our local scrapbook store....and the carts are $100...we just bought a vacuum cleaner (had to pick that over scrapbooking unfortunately!) so my budget will have to wait for the little bug unless I can get one for a deal!

It was $329 at ACM that day, with the 2 cartridges it comes with (Accent Essentials and Plantin Schoolbook). It also comes with a 12 x 12 mat.

I cant believe how much bigger the expression is. they look funny next to eachother on the table.

For right now, I'm going to keep it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. You're right--the difference in the size is funny! I think the Expression is easier to use because I'm not all that coordinated, and the bigger mat seems easier to handle!

sounds great. didnt want to seem like i was asking for too much - but once my husband saw that it was selling for 150.00 + on ebay he said - "I hope your getting at least 2 carts for that.

I totally understand. My DH would be raising his eyebrows too if I "gave away" a cart. I had planned on trying to get you both you asked for before, but having four to find two from will be easier for me, I hope.

Well, that trip was a bust. Michaels doesn't have any of the new ones, JoAnns no new ones, HL out of the ones you wanted, and Cord Camera is having a super sale on them. They are normally $89 but with their coupon this week only they are $54.99. That is where I took my class today. Turns out that they take phone holds. The only thing they had left was the Speaking of Fall. I couldn't even get my Cursive 101 or Opposites Attract as they had all those on hold too. Penty of the other stuff, like all the older ones and 50 states and learning curve and those word ones. Had I know, I would have reserved them at the beginning of class, but I wanted to wait until after class so I could get my 10% on some pirate paper too. That'll teach me good won't it.

By the way, they have the Expression for $389.99 with coupon too and they punch your card so you end up with a $40.00 credit.
