Can anyone give me feed back on Cricket wireless? I believe they use AT and T towers/system? At and T is what we currently have. 3 smart phones and two basic phones on the plan. As of May 2nd I can drop the basic phones won't need them. The smart phones are 2-5C and 1-4S iPhones. Two of the phone use less than 2 GB of data per month and the 3rd one 3-5GB of data.

Trying to find a way to lower my cost but still have the same service.

Yes they use ATT towers....However there is no roaming with Cricket. So in some parts of the country that makes a big deal. For me I don't really have much issue with it. They also throttle data to 8 meg down. Not a big deal for me but it might be for someone who uses 5gb of data on their phone.

It's basically the best deal in wireless if you can take advantage in the 5 lines for $100. Still a good deal without that, but just not as good. If my math is right your bill would be $100 for 3 phones. All taxes are included and you can use your current phones.

Had Cricket for 3 months now. We have the basic plan with 2.5 gigs per line before throttling. Total for 3 smart phones is only $90.00. No issues, used it in Florida before our cruise no issue. I have nothing bad to say.

I've had Cricket for a few months. It's been OK and a lot cheaper than what I was paying AT&T.

Sorry to drag up an old thread. I have Cricket as well, and it mostly works fine as far as data goes. However, I know that if there is a lot of usage in the area, actual AT&T subscribers get priority for data over Cricket users. Has anyone not been able to get their data (4G) to work in the Disney parks?

We've had Cricket for 4+ years and spent probably 100 total days in WDW during that time. Even during Xmas week, I've never had an issue with getting data to work. My phone works far better than the Wifi in the park.

Thank you so much, that is what I hoping to hear!

I will update my assessment of Cricket. I dumped them after being throttled too many times. I have Cubs season tickets and sit next to someone with regular AT&T. In the summer of 2016 I struggled to get a signal to even get a text out on Cricket. My friend, however, was texting, on Facebook, pulling up web pages, etc, etc on AT&T with ease. I realized that I was getting hosed royally by throttling. I understand that the cell phone companies want to give their own customers priority over MNVOs but that was ridiculous. My phone was completely unusable while his was at 100%.

I am now with AT&T Prepaid. We'll see how it is at Wrigley in a couple of months.

We have been with Cricket for 2 yrs and love our cell service. We have 3 lines for $90.00/mos. Unlimited everything. We love that we can be on the internet at all times and never have to worry about overage. Their customer service is unbeatable. We bought our andriod phones outright and they have been great. We have no plans to upgrade at all. When they die we will buy new and pay cash.
