Cribs?

we're renting points for a stay next month and are wondering if it's possible to rent a crib for our stay.
Any help would be much appreciated

Outside vendors rent full size cribs. Try A Baby's Best Friend.

But all DVC units come with a Pack and Play portable in the closet. And should be a high chair as well, at least in the 1BRs and larger. Or you can request either if they are not in your room for some reason.

In the past when our children were under 1 year old we requested a full size crib(well crib not really full size) instead of using the pack n play. We never had a problem getting one. Once they got bigger we used the pack n play in the room. You can also call for bed rails if needed.

In the past when our children were under 1 year old we requested a full size crib(well crib not really full size) instead of using the pack n play. We never had a problem getting one. Once they got bigger we used the pack n play in the room. You can also call for bed rails if needed.

It's my understanding that the resorts are phasing out the full size cribs over time. So I think over time they will be less likely to be available even at the resorts that have had them in the past. So if someone has to have a full size, I always suggest a rental so you're sure to get it.

We rented a full size crib from A Baby's Best Friend and I was very happy with the service.

We stayed at AKV-Kidani when our granddaughter was 18 months old. Our daughter called the front desk and asked if she could get a crib for the room since that was what she was used to sleeping in. They brought one right up. I didn't even know that it was an option!

We stayed in BLT in Feb. We also expected our Granddaughter to sleep in a pack & play although she was big for it and not used to it. The person who brought in our luggage suggested we call for a fill sized crib and bedrails for our older granddaughter. Both were brought up,no problem. Had no idea they provided a crib or bed rails!!!!!

DVC's official position is that cribs are not available at the resort and they will refer you to outside rental companies.

That's not to say that the deluxe resort may not have one still available but I wouldn't count on it.

I got a regular crib at the villas at wilderness lodge.

We stayed at BLT last year, there weren't any full sized cribs available. Be sure to have a back up plan.

I think the resorts which are connected to a regular resort generally have cribs and bed rails on FCFS basis.
Other resorts I heard don't even carry them.

If a resort does have a full size crib for use, does it come with sheets? We've utilized A Baby's Best Friend in the past and the all the necessary sheets were provided.
