Cribs

Hi Everyone:
We are taking our gd who will be 21 months when we go. She does not sleep in a pack and play so we need to get a crib. When one of my other gd's was a baby (she's now 7 - she was 1 at the time) we got a crib at OKW. It was horrible - it was like a hospital crib. I wondered if anyone has gotten one recently and if it was more like a home crib. We'll be staying at our home OKW. Thanks for the help.

Our Daught-In-Law rents one when we go down, but I don't know the name of the place she gets it from. I'm trying to get in touch with her to ask. I will keep trying. I know she has been very happy with them in the past.

Thank you. That would be terrific. I am going to call OKW as well and find out what they have for cribs to see if they have updated at all, but I am definitely interested in the place your dil rents.

We rented one from a baby's best friend. The crib was great. It was delivered and waiting at the resort for us. They still have the metal hospital ones and the resort.

Thank you. I'm going to look them up as well. Also, thank you for letting me know that they are still using the metal cribs. I had a feeling because I know a lot of little will sleep in the pack and play. She just isn't one of them.

The place my DIL used was All About Kids. When she gets home she's going to give me their phone number.

I've always rented from A Baby's Best Friend... great stuff, great service... plus it was a little cheaper than some of the other companies (maybe it's because they have free delivery).
