I half remember reading that Dolphin will provide a crib for infants/toddlers, true? If so, could you describe it's approximate dimentions and comment on it's durability? Does it fold up or is it permanent? I'd really like to leave this item home next trip if I can get a suitable one at the resort.

Thanks,

I don't know. I will bump you back up to the first page and see if anyone else can provide the answer. Good Luck.

My husband and I are booked at the Swan in September and when we reserved the room we were told that they have full size cribs available -- they do not provide pack n plays like many of the other resorts. They told my husband that a bumper and mickey mouse sheets would also be provided.

Hope this helps.

Meekomaria,

Thanks, that's just what I was hoping to hear.

They are actually portacrib size. (not a full sized crib), but they are much better than the pack n play type and very adequate. They are permanent and do not fold up and are pretty sturdy. We used them for quite a few trips for our dd about a year to 2 years ago. (at the S/D-the BWV actually had the same crib for my niece then too).

They have the cute baby disney pals on the bumpers and the comforter. You can also request a lighter weight baby/toddler sized blanket.

I may have a photo I can email you. My dd slept well in them WHEN they had the thicker mattress (some of the thinner mattresses are ripped so make sure to inspect it when they bring it in).

jwfla422,

If you've got a picture that would be great. I not only have to research this stuff, but also to convince my wife and daughter that we don't need to cart a crib with us. I'm at wdaniels@misericordia.edu.

Thanks,

I agree... make sure you inspect the whole thing. During our first WDW stay as a family we realized the next morning that the porta-crib that PO Mousekeeping brought us was missing one of the vertical bars. That made it a serious choking hazard. That's one of the reason we like the pack-n-plays (though you need to check the netting like wise)... they just seem less rickety than the average hotel porta-crib.

Another option we have used are the bed rails. They will also provide those if you have an extra bed for the little one to sleep in.:)
