crib or pack and play?

does anyone know if beach club has a pack n play or a crib in the room?

You can request one, and you may get either, but they are first come, first serve. The resorts are doing away with regular cribs over time. DVC villas usually have a pack and play in the room but not the regular resort rooms.

Cribs are being phased out. Assume you are getting a pack and play. If your child won't sleep or fit in a pack n play anymore, consider renting from an offsite vendor such as A Baby's Best Friend. I've done so in the past, and will be doing so for our trip in October. Never disappointed in the service they provide, very easy and convenient. Hope that helps you out! Have a great trip!

We've gotten cribs before (most recently at bc in January) but they are not any larger than a pnp. They even use the same sheets. The reason i prefer the crib is there is a mattress in it (thin) vs basically a board in a pnp. Also, my ds moves a lot in his sleep and is constantly maki noise running his feet along the sides of the pnp (like the noise of a windbreaker) and it wakes him up sometimes. That doesn't happen with a crib. But when we can only get a pnp he sleeps there. In 7 trips with our ds, we have never had trouble getting a pnp, even Christmas and fourth of july week at pop!

In 2009 we had a pack n play, but were asked if it was ok for DD and if we were not happy we could request a crib. This was at BC.

Are the cribs metal? And are the pack and plays like the ones "at home"? Trying to decide for our trip the end of this week!
