Where would you put a crib in a studio? I'm staying at Kidani in a few weeks and I'm trying to think through the best room layout.

I'll have a 3 year old on the pull out. Is it an option to try to get my 3 yo to sleep on the couch without pulling it out?

We will be eating the majority of meals in the room, so I need some space to not feel cluttered and go crazy!

I think you will be pretty tight. We did a studio @ Kidani with our 2 kids on the pull out and I felt claustrophobic between the luggage we had, the bed pulled out, we have an Owner's Locker, etc.

On the plus side, the bathroom is big! But due to the configuration, I don't believe you could get a crib in the bathroom area.

The only place I can immediately think of for a crib (pack and play not an actual crib) might be the foot of the bed area, or in between the bed and the sofa bed if there's enough room.

You will definitely want to close up the bed as much as possible, especially if you're going to eat in the room - there's just not much room there.

I've done the crib and pull-out couch a few times in a studio. We put the crib at the foot of the bed. I think it's also small enough to fit between the bed and pull-out, but don't quote me on that. I've always had it at the foot of the bed :).

We had DD, DSil, DGS, DW and me in a studio at BCV. We put the pack and play between the bed and pulled out couch for DGS to sleep in - more than enough room.

Hate to say it but its going to be kind of cramped no matter where you put it. Maybe move the table and chairs out and put it in the corner. We always put it in front of the tv. We could move around it "ok" but that is why we are started to stay in 1br's from now on. Just need more room.

We used a crib provided by disney in a kidani studio. It was not full size, more like 3/4 size. It fit right across from the bathroom in a nook where the studio connects to the adjoining one bedroom.

That's a good idea - I forgot about that little alcove leading to the connecting door.

Perfect. That's what I was hoping for.

Question - are you talking about the pack and play that in the room or did you request a diff crib?

No we put in a request for a crib not pnp. We had to remind them when we checked in but it all worked out.
