Crib at hotel fit in the bathroom?

How about getting a 1br villa at one of the DVC resorts? That way you can put the baby to sleep in the bedroom at 7:00 and still be able to enjoy the rest of your night.

We had our family of 5 at the Pop. At night, my husband would take the 2 kids out to swim while I would turn the lights off and put our 2 yr old in the pack-n-play. Once he fell asleep, we could move around the room freely & make noise. He was that tired from a day at Disney. Good luck.

I'm glad everyone else puts as much thought into this as I do. I hate having to sit in a room at 8:00 with all the lights out when there is so much going on outside! I'm looking forward to a room at Saratoga this time so maybe we'll have a balcony to enjoy, but any other room and it is a nightmare! My daughter is a pretty light sleeper too, so we have to stay quiet. I WISH she'd sleep with us, but when we put her in our bed, she sits up and talks. We'll see how it goes on our next trip! Only 12 days to go!
We're going to try the "go go go even if she falls asleep in the stroller" technique this time and see how it goes. Maybe not every day, but we'll give it a go once and see hwat happens.

Even if it fit I would not put it in the bathroom for safety issues and how are you going to go to the bathroom with that thing in there?

When on vacation, my kids don't go to bed at their normal time. And at 15 mos., he would probably sleep fine in the stroller while you enjoyed the evening activities. If he's going to bed at 7 pm every night, you're going to miss Wishes, Illuminations, Fantasmic and Spectromagic. Those are my family's favorite things to see. There's something special about the parks at night.

Our trips since the little kids (I have an adult aged dd that's been several times in addition to these):

1st Trip - ds was 6 months old
2nd Trip - ds was 3.5 and dd was turning 1
3rd Trip - ds was 5.5 and dd was almost 3 (3 weeks short)
Next Trip - ds will be 8 and dd 5.

I've always been a believer that kids need to learn to sleep through noise as babies and toddlers.

So we'd bring our own pack N' play when they were babies, put them down for the night and go about our business - whether it's talking or watching the TV quietly. They'd always fall asleep on their own.

When they were toddlers it got trickier but they would eventually fall asleep.

Now that they are older, they can't sleep through noise so it's been a pain for us but we've been so tired when we are at WDW, we are asleep by 11pm most nights anyway.
