Hello. I bought a box of Whitestrips last week and love them. They are easy to use and have seen a noticeable difference. I think I am going to get a box for my DH too. So, we will have great smiles for all the photos we plan on taking at WDW in Sept/Oct.
I swear by them but be very careful not to leave them on too long they can make your teeth VERY SENSITIVE to hot and cold and AIR for that matter....I fell asleep with them in once and couldnt eat anything the whole next day!!!!!
I've used these before and also found them to work very well. Although I didn't use them faithfully so I didn't get the best results possible. I'm gonna get another box though and really work at it this time! And yes I also agree that they shouldn't be left on your teeth for more than the recommended time (30 minutes I think). My lower teeth became really sensitive to air!
Well, I bought them because I wanted to be confident about my smile with all the photos we plan on taking on the trip. I have used them as directed thus far and am amazed with the results. A few years ago I tried a different program with molds that I had to put a bleaching cream in and it was messy, gross and I couldn't stick with it.
These Whitestrips are a 10 day program. 2 times per day. 30 minutes per time. They are not messy at all and are so easy to use!
My husband asked me why I was doing it, since he didn't think my teeth needed whitening. . . but I really wanted a more brighter, confident smile. I see all those makeovers on tv and they always whiten the people's teeth!
I have the whitestrips but am confused as they only cover a few teeth...is the idea that you have really white teeth in front, but dingy teeth on the sides? Or are you supposed to do them as well with additional kits?
Hmmm. I have the "new" Premium Plus, which is a 10 day supply. I paid $39, but there were others for less money. One was a 14 day supply for $24 and another on sale for $16. The way I looked at, if I was going to go to the trouble of investing my time . . . an hour a day for 10 days . . . then I wanted the best.
My strips are individually wrapped and each one comes out of the packet easily. The top strip is much larger than the lower strip. Both cover all of the teeth visible with even my widest smile. The cover almost back to my molars.
They are advertised to show noticeable results in 3 days, but I saw a vast improvement in only 2!
Now it is a subtle difference. I don't look like Ross in that episode of Friends!

I haven't tried these since I have a couple veneers but a few girls that I worked with have tried these and loved it...they actually put them on at work and said they were "Strippin"...gotta have the Jersey accent!
Well, the smile is so important in all those Disney pics . . . especially now with Photopass! It is something that is relatively inexpensive and easy to do that could make a nice difference.
wow, i just found this post at a perfect time. i was just at target last night looking at the crest whitestrips debating on whether or not to buy them and if they really work. now that i've read this, i'm going back tonight to get some for our upcoming trip in September!!

I have a veneer as well and use the strips ALL THE TIME. When I had the veneer put in place my dentist had me do a professional bleach kit for I think 2 weeks and then matched the veneer to my teeth at their whitest. If you did this it would be ok to use the strips.....but I see what you mean if you did not bleach before the veneers were matched. With a wedding on the way you might want to try if you can...makes a HUGE difference in pictures. GOOD LUCK.
