I'm looking for recommendations for counter service breakfasts. Our first trip to WDW is in March, staying at the Beach Club Villas (Studios). I'm used to DLR. Last time we went we stayed off-site and could stop in at Panera on the way to the parks. I'm actually fine with eating breakfast in the room, since I usually eat light at breakfast. But I don't know if that will fly for my parents or my son.

I was looking for breakfast ideas also and couldn't find anything.

Beach club marketplace has the most options out of the crescent lake resorts. Boardwalk Bakery and the Yacht club QS are pretty limited.
Picabu, the qs at dolphin had pretty much everything you could want for breakfast but we traveled there before COVID so not sure what it’s like now.
I could find something at any of these but DH needs his bounty platter so has made the trek to Beach club marketplace many times.

Since you are at BCV, the marketplace seems like a good option. I don’t really think any of the qs options are worth time to travel to in the Epcot resorts. I might stop at Boardwalk bakery if walking to DHS and grab something on the way.

Sit down breakfast Cape May is pretty good. quick service not much there - Market place is okay, I usually go to the boardwalk bakery. Tratoria al Forno and Ale&Compass have good food and you can mobile order
