Happy Friday to everyone!!!
:bounce:
I am a huge creme brulee fan! I know there are tons of different flavors at wdw, of them I definately plan on trying the banana caramel one at kona!
I was just wondering what other flavors are out there and where else I could find them?

Whats your favorite flavor??
:teeth:

WDW has many different places that offer creme brulee! My favorite - vanilla bean at Concourse Steakhouse. I guess I'm a sucker for the original.

I love creme brulee, but I stick to the original. I haven't really tried any of the other flavors.

Chefs de France in Epcot has excellent creme brulee.

We loved the Bailey's Irish Creme Brulee at R&C, but were less than thrilled with the Maple at Le Cellier. Happy sugar shock! :bounce: Maggie

That's my goal. I would love to try it! Talk about gaining weight on vacation! lol

My favorite is the Maple Creme Brulee in Canada in the World Showcase. In September, I'm hoping to try the ginger creme brulee at Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace. And we're eating at the Brown Derby, they have a Roasted Local Strawberry Creme Brulee with Petite Orange chocolate Scone.

Pistachio Creme Brulee with layered chocolate bottom is at Jiko in the AKL.

Passion Fruit Crème Brulee at Shutters in CBR.

Key Lime Margarita - Key Lime Creme Brulee with Sauza gold tequila and Cointreau gelate and sun-dried blueberry biscotti (California Grill)

Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee (Concourse Steakhouse)

bluezoo 5d - sorbet of the day, chocolate orange pot de crème, vanilla crème brûlée, chocolate raspberry molten cake, key lime pie, vanilla tapioca (Todd English's bluezoo)

Creme Brulee (Shula's Steak House)

Tropical Fruit Creme Brulee (Citricos)

Key Lime Creme Brulee (Narcoossee's)

Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee (Victoria & Albert's)

Caramel-Banana Creme Brulee (Kona Cafe)

Kona Coffee and Irish Cream Brulee (O'Hana's)

Crème Brûlée - Lemon Flavored Crème Brûlée Paired with Lemoncello Sorbet (Palio in the Swan)

Coffee Two Ways - Mochaccino bread pudding and vanilla latte creme brulee (Artist Point at WL)

Galley Miniature Dessert Sampler ("taste without the guilt") - A sampling of vanilla Crème Brulee, Key Lime Pie and Blueberry Tart, and Bailey's Mousse (Yacht Club Gallery)

Creme Brulee (Planet Hollywood)

Not a FULL List, but pretty good, huh? Bet you didn't think anyone cared about creme brulee enough to bother, lol!

CRT also has key lime creme brulee. They used to have a capuccinno creme brulee which I love and alas... they changed it.

Tiggerbell,

Great job! I'm going to try to see how many different creme brulees I can eat on my trip in December. Right now, Jiko has my favorite.

I haven't had it but I hear Fulton's in DTD has milk chocolate creme brulee.

Creme brulee just might be my favorite vice in existance. Having said that, I've had the pistachio one at Jikos and thought it was just ok (the nuts were a little limp), but was absolutely sold on the mocha one at Spoodles--it had chocolate coffee beans (as far as I remember) on top with a chocolate stirrer, and was served in a coffee cup! The top was nice and crunchy too...mmmmm...

The milk Chocolate one at Fultons is to die for. I visit every time I'm there!! I'm leaving Aug 1 and can't wait!!

OK- based on how much you all know about Creme brulee this is going to sound like I've never left the house but what is it?? I have never had it before!

It is essentially a baked, typically vanilla flavored custard. :goodvibes

It is unique because they take the custard batter (eggs, cream, sugar and flavorings) and put it in little dishes/ramekins and instead of just baking it they put it in a shallow dish of water first. This transforms the oven into a little steam room where the creme brulees can luxuriate in their little spa and get firm but still creamy and rich. The extra moisture means that these little delicacies do not have a quiche or overly egg like texture, but one that is very smooth and creamy and will melt on your tongue a little. (softer than flan)

Once these gems are cooked, they are removed and given a thin dusting of sugar. They are then either broiled or blasted with a cooking grade blowtorch :firefight (don't get scared now, lol) to caramelize the sugar on top. (The best part)

When it arrives to your table, you tap through this thin caramel colored layer of crisp sugar and get to the custard underneath. :p The creaminess and crunchiness, the sweetness and the toasty flavor from the broiling are nice contrasts. I also like that creme brulees are usually not overly sweet.

Now, Disney has taken this basic recipe and created dozens of incarnation as we see from this thread! I have never had a creme brulee other than the vanilla or a homemade pumpkin one I made. I plan on trying a few of these when I go in December. They make me happy! :flower:

Hope that helped.

I tried five differenct flavors when I was there in May. My favorite was the coffee creme brulee at Spoodles. I walked over from the BCV several times just for that. Heavenly. :lovestruc Enjoy as many as you can!

:sunny: My 14 Year old Ds discovered the traditional Creme Brulee' at Chefs de France and he absolutely loves the stuff (but I'm not allowed to tell any of his friends) . Our upcoming trip will include tasting as much "Brulee'" through WDW as we can while there. Thanks for the heads up on where we can find some of the different flavors. I personally have to have the Chocolate!!!! :lovestruc

While the entire dinner at LeCellier last week was AWESOME...the maple creme brulee was just the greatest thing ever put into a dish. My DH had it for dessert and told me he would have eaten a bucket of it.

we didn't care for the vanilla cb at bd...it was gummy on top instead of that nice sugar crunch( some place else had the same problem but dont' remember where). maybe the strawberry is better ( not to brag but mine is much better/silkier than any we had there:blush: (Joy of cooking recipe, simple to make even though my husband cringes :scared: everytime i get out the propane torch, oolala good stuff)
