Creepy things...

I don't believe in ghosts. but this is kinda creepy: Every night about 10:30, there's a noise against my front door. It's a single soft knock. Then about this time, my cat goes crazy and jumps up on the walls like something is up there. She runs across the floor like something is chasing her. And even in the daytime, her eyes will follow what appears to be an invisible something. And every now and then, she will just stare up at the walls. Anybody else had anything like this happen to them?

yeah but i like to keep that to myself so people dont think im weird
but anyway maybe you should stay outside the door around 10:30 and see if its just a coincidence that somethings hitting it.

I sorta believe in ghosts, well, sort of.
But they do say that cats and dogs can tell when something, well, 'super natural' is around....

I would do the same as DISKATER69, you know, stand outside the door at the time and see if someone is pulling a joke or its something else :

I agree with diskater69 though - maybe just sit outside and see whats going on. Or if you don't want to sit outside and have a window by your door - look out your window!

you don't have any trees or bushes or something that could "knock" on your door? my grandma's dog does this sometimes, he'll just bolt to the window and start barking his head off

I believe in ghosts... There's a pretty old graveyard near my house that my friends and I have chilled in a few times, we've seen some creepy stuff. Cold spots on hot nights, unnatural sounds and even an apparition.

Yeah i definitely believe in ghosts, but along with that a lot of the things that we would immediately assume to be ghosts can actually be explained to be something else. I believe TAPS calls this debunking.

Your Ghost could be a poltergeist. Poltergeist's are phantoms brought on by strong/unresolved emotions. Poltergeist's tend to haunt people not houses and from what you've said your the one noticing these things so it might just be haunting you. If you have any strong/unresolved emotional issuse you could try figuring out how to take care of them instead of bottling them up. If you don't have strong/unresolved emotions then idk how to help sorry.

I hear people singing and footsteps.
Television pauses and turns off by itself.
Someone opens my text messages..when i am home alone.
Doors unlock.
Things unplug too.

I keep on seeing things... like there was a salesman and when he rang the doorbell I looked out my window. Thinking UPS came, i saw in my eyes a UPS truck. But I blinked and realized that wasn't true. I also seem to hear footsteps when nobody's home and my dog is right next to me.

In my best friend's old house, she said there was a ghost. She told me this but I didn't really believe her, I've slept round her house before.
She told me 'it' only comes when it rains.
So, because that whole week was predicted rain, I said "I'll sleep round your house on Friday, then we'll investigate."

So it was arranged and that night it rained, so we waited and stayed up. At 11.00ish (the time when she began to see the 'ghost') we turned out all the lights. We waited and waited, I turned to talk to her (that ment I was towards the window) when I saw a person's reflection in the window's reflection.
I turned my head (after telling her and we were VERY freaked out) but there was nobody there.
I turned back and looked in the reflection, it was deffiantly a person....

We told her Mum the next day and she said that the house had been built on a graveyard!!!

I do not believe in ghosts. Once you die, your soul does not stay here on Earth. But I do believe in Angels. Once, when I was very young, I was laying in bed at night trying to fall asleep. Everyone was in bed. There was no one with me, no people or animals. So I was laying there, and all of the sudden, I feel something very lightly touch my arm. I looked around and there was no one there. I was actually feeling very calm at the moment. A couple years later, after I moved to a new place, it was also at night when this happened. Once again, it was around midnight and everyone was in their rooms sleeping. I heard this really quiet humming. It sounded like a young lady, humming. It came from out in the living room.
So, hey, maybe it was your Guardian Angel tapping on your door.
