Credits good until midnight on checkout?

I want to double check that the DP credits are good until midnight on the day you check out? We would plan on using a TS credit for dinner the day we check out of our hotel and want to make sure it'll still be there to use! Anyone have trouble using credits late in the day on check out?

A few years ago, we used ours for a late dinner (8 pm) after we checked out. No problems.

Theoretically, yes they are... but sometimes they will disappear, so you may want to check and make sure that they are still there after check-out/before dining.

I'm not sure what you mean. What is the policy, are they supposed to be there and you have to ask for them back, or do they sometimes take them away and you are just SOL if you inquire about them? I understand if its a glitch and they need to put them back on your account, but if they take them because it's your last day, I would need to know that. Don't want to book a TS that day if I can't use the credit.

The credits are supposed to be there until midnight on your checkout day. However, upon occassion, when people are checked out of their room, they somehow lose access to their credits - even though they are still entitled to them. This means that the CMs have to do some "Backstage Magic" in order to make the credits usable. It's much better to make sure that they are still showing on your MB before you sit down to eat than once you get your bill... especially since they may not be able to fix it at the restaurant.

A couple of years ago, we checked out of our resort and went to Magic Kingdom one last time while waiting for afternoon flight. We had some snack credits left on our account prior to checkout. I tried to use them while at Magic Kingdom and I was told that I had no credits. I think they were wiped out when we checked out.
