We have two separate parts of our family going to Disney at the same time in late August. My sister is going on the cruise and staying at AKL with the "regular" (sorry I can't remember what it is called. The 1ts, 1qs, 1snack one). She wanted to upgrade to the (3ts, 2 snack, 1 cup one) but they said it is not offered for those that are on the cruise.

On to my question, we currently have the same dining plan but will be in Disney longer. If we upgrade to the 3 table service meal plan can I "pay" for my sister's meal with my table service credits? I am thinking that otherwise we will have way too many ts meals, but with the other plan we will be short.

Sorry for being such a newbie, I searched and can't seem to find the answer. We are not sharing a meal, which is what I keep reading about.

Thanks in advance!

No, you can't share your credits with someone not on the plan.

We were there last month, 5 families, 3 had regular dining plan and 2 had deluxe. The answer to your question is no. Our group asked at several places as those on the deluxe plan had so many credits that were going unused but they are pretty strict about this now.
