I have a question from those who are familiar with this.

How long does it take for credit agencies to update their records to reflect that a person has payed off his/her credit card(s) ? TIA!! :cool1:

It's my understanding that things take about 90 days on average to hit your credit report.

It depends on your card company. The information that goes on your credit report is all information they report to the credit bureaus. Some cards report information in real time (or close), some report every 30 days, and some hardly ever report at all.

You might want to try calling the companies you paid and seeing what their policy is. I don't know how it works, but you might be able to ask them to report your information sooner.
