Can anyone tell me the best place to request a free credit report from all 3 companies, TIA:goodvibes

just remember that myfico.com is the only site to get your actual credit score from, and it will cost you about 10-15$ each score.
On the credit boards, i forget the name of it right now, usually post coupons for 20-30% off. Or try retailmenot.com they post some too.

If you're planning on doing a major purchase, i would pull your report, and once everything is clean... Any debts, any mistakes, that sort of stuff is taken care of, then pull your scores.
You're better off knowing what you're doing going into it. Rather than being blindsided.

For now, i just pull my reports. Once everything is cleaned up and gone, i'll check my scores. But i know that i can't get approved for anything, so it's low.

If you're an American Express cardholder you can get your FICO score for free for a limited time.

If you are a Costco member, you can get credit monitoring for $9.50 a month. It includes all three credit scores and credit reports and you can get them every month. If you need to watch your credit reports to see if things drop off (or get put on) and/or keep track of your scores, this is the cheapest place I've found. Just go to Costco.com and in the search box type in "credit report" and a link should pop up. Remember, you need to be a Costco member.

If you just want a copy of your three reports and don't want to monitor it, then the free reports from annualcreditreport.com is all you'll need.

Another thing to keep in mind is you can get one free report PER credit agency - Experian, TransUnion, etc. We go through AnnualCreditReport.com as well. But my identity was stolen last fall and I now have a reminder on my calendar to get a report once every 4 months, it's free because I'm just getting from ONE of the reporting agencies. That allows me to keep a much closer eye on my report vs. doing one report per year.

it's simply creditboards.com (hope it's ok to post that domain name here). It's a GREAT site for those seeking to manage their credit and looking for ways to maximize their FICO score or for those looking to repair their credit.
