can I say,pay 1000 dollars on my debit card as credit when I check in at hotel for meals. My room and tickets are all paid off. Don't want xtra charges on my visa.

No they won't let you do that. What you could do is go to the front desk or concierge desk every couple days and pay your balance. They won't charge your visa until you reach the limit which I believe are

Value $1500
Moderate $2000
Deluxe $2500

You can also change your card on file to your debit card instead of the Visa. But they will still let the amount build up before they charge it.

Ditto. WDW USED to allow this.... but they quit doing it because in an OVERPAYMENT situation, they had no way to refund the money .
They can't even do this with the Disney Chase Rewards cards. .

So, you need a positive bill balance on your room equal to, or higher than, what you want to pay with a Rewards card. THEN the Front Desk can loot the card, and apply the cash .
