credit from airlines if fare goes down?

I've read several posts that mention credit from various airlines if you book a flight and the fare goes down. My question is, do most airlines do this? We're heading to MCO in 47 days flying from PSC (small airport in Pasco, WA). Our airline choices are United, Delta, and Alaska Air. So far United has the best deal at $340. I've booked flights for around $250 this past Feb. The problem is the Denver to Orlando leg is almost full. If I buy the tickets and the fare drops, does United give vouchers?
In my experience fares start getting more expensive about 4 weeks out and we're just over 6 weeks now so I'm getting anxious! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I do think they all do it. SW does something different, forget what it is though. I did just get a $16 voucher from Midwest Airlines when fare I bought at $192 dropped to $176. Good luck.

I hate to say this but the $340 per ticket might be the best you can get at this point in time. The flight is 47 days out and you are leaving from a small airport in Pasco, WA. Small hubs do not usually make the airlines bend over backwards to get you a screaming deal on flight prices. If your dates are set I would purchase the tickets and just watch daily to see IF the price drops and if it does call the airlines and ask for a voucher for the difference. The tickets do have to be purchased through the airlines ( I believe) if you purchase through say Expedia I think there is no going back. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Have you thought about driving into Portland or Seattle to try to get a better deal? Not sure how long of a drive it would be or how many airline tickets need to be purchased.
