Do they take credit cards in the parks for food and souvenirs? If so do you know what they accept?

yes, Disney wants your money.
If you are staying on property, you can have your room key linked to your cc. That way you don't really have to carry all the other cards or cash. If you have a Disney visa card or the reward card carry that one. We were shopping in DTD and the stores give you a 10% discount if you show them. Also if you are on property you won't have to carry all your souvies. They will be delivered to your hotels gift shop.

As said, if on property it's easiest to link a card to your room key- they bill everything in one big chunk at the end of your stay and you get an itemized list on your door the morning you check out. It saves a CC bill that could be quite long.

If not, then they still take CCs. I don't remember what all (the few times I needed to use a regular card, I used a MasterCard), but the big four (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover) are pretty much shoe-ins nowadays.

Disney is plenty happy to take your money and they try to make that process as simple as possible.

Yes. The best way like the previous poster said that you should link your credit card to your key to the world so this way you won't have to keep track of all your credit cards. I believe the CRO can link the 2 together for your arrival.

I've used Visa/MC/Amex/Discover all in the parks. We don't charge to our room key. We tend to spend more that way (which we know is the whole reason Disney does this). Carrying one cc and some cash doesn't bother me, but I know some folks swear by the room charge.
