Credit cards & Magic Bands

We plan on bringing very little cash on our trip to Disney and we're going to have our credit card linked to our Magic Bands. Is there a limit to how much you can charge with your credit card on the Magic Band?

Not that Im aware of. They charge the card approx every $500 or so. But we never charged anything more than about $300 in one swipe. Im not sure if there is a limit on how much you can swipe for

When I stayed at a value resort, the limit was $500. At a moderate it was $1000. I've not stayed at a deluxe, but I think it is $1500. This is the most you can accumulate on your MagicBand (room charge) before Disney needs to charge the amount to your credit card on file. In my experience, I had to call my resort front desk and ask them to put the charge through to my credit card. Otherwise, I could not make any purchases using MagicBand. Once the balance on your MagcBand/room charge is back to 0, you can start accumulating again until the limit is reached and the cycle starts again.
