you can also use credit cards at most of the vending carts as well. Be careful though there are a couple of them that are still cash only!!

you can also use your room key if you are staying on site!

The ice cream drink carts don't take anything but cash. DD and I were at AK waiting behind a couple to get a drink. The guy asked for a bottle of water. He handed it to his wife and started to pay with his room card. The CM working the cart told him they only took cash. The guy turned to his wife, who had already opened the bottle. They had no cash. The guy looked like he wanted to melt through the pavement. I told him I'd get it for him. He wanted to know how to return the money to me. I told him to forget it. We all have those moments. Just be careful to make sure they take credit cards/room cards before you shop.

Thanks, but it was no big deal. I'd sure hope someone would do the same for me under similar circumstances. I'm one of those people that checks the signs on a restaurant twice before I go in just to make sure I have the right type of card. I'm a bit anal.

We have used CC at drink carts in MK and Epcot, maybe AK doesn't have that yet?? I do know that the snow cone place in Epcot by Japan is cash only.
