Credit Cards and Magic Bands

DH and I are taking DSIL and DBIL and their family with us on our next vacation. We are planning to stay in a two bedroom villa at AKV.
I was reading on another site that with the use of the magic bands, that DH and I can have our credit card linked to our magic bands for the room and DSIL and DBIL can have their credit card linked to their magic bands for the same room. Is this true?
If that is true, can I also have the DDP credits divided among our families. DH and I receiving the credits for our family of four and DSIL and DBIL receiving theirs for a family of three?
If these things are possible, it would be fantastic! If they aren't, please Disney, help me out!

Credit cards are not actually linked to MagicBands, they are on file with the resort and any purchases charged back to the room will be covered by said CC.

At the front desk you can have them set it up so that each persons (or group of persons) room charges will go to their own CC.

Dining plan credits are pooled by room and all persons have access to all credits.

(Bad wording on my part about the cc on the bands LOL) I just was unaware that you could link different credit cards to different guests. Is this only done at DVC resorts or at all resorts? Years ago when we took DMIL, we were told we couldn't have a separate card on file for her in our room at BLT.
I don't know if it has recently changed or not, but I am happy about it. It will save us having to divide up expenses in the end.
I wish they could do the same for Dining Credits, but I'm happy with one out of the two. Eventually maybe we'll get there.

I believe it used to be only at Resort with Convention Centers. With the current resort software, all resorts should be able to. If the CM at the front desk says it can't be done, ask for a supervisor.
