What are the restaurants that take your credit card as a guarantee but don't charge you unless you do not show? Is it a set fee they charge or for the whole cost if you don't show? Not that I don't plan to show I'm just curious about how many restaurants they do this with.

I know that the California Grill does, so does the princess meal at Akershush in the Norway pavilion. Those were the only ones that required a CC when I made my ADRs. I'm sure others will list more though. Have fun!

Also they take your CC for the Fantasmic Dinner package an Victoria & Albert's as well.

And for the kids, they take your CC for Alice Tea Party, Pirate Cruise, and Adventures in Cooking.

Akershus charges you a $10 cancellation fee per person on the ADR if you do not cancel it 48 hours before the meal. CRT also requires a CC, but they bill you for everything if you cancel. In fact, CRT bills you right after you make the ADR unless you're on the DDP, in which case they only charge your CC if you're a no show.

Hi!
We just made our ADR for the Cal. Grill and they did take the c.card number. They said that if we were a no show they would charge $20.00 per person on the card. Are they kidding, we would never miss a chance to eat at the CG.

Their official policy states that if one changes table size, one is liable for $20 per person of one's differential. For example: Book a table for 3 (they reserve a 4-top) and show up with only two, one is liable for $20. Book a table for 4 and show up with 5, you are liable for $80 (this was confirmed by several managers at central reservations, although I still have my doubts that they would actually do it).
