Credit card guarantee question

I have a credit card for online purchases only and then my regular credit card. I just got a call from the bank about my online card. They suspected it was being used fraudulently and had frozen it. Confirmed charges weren’t mine and they cancelled card. Sending a new one in the mail.
I had used my online card (which is now cancelled) to guarantee my dining reservations. I’m guessing I don’t need to do anything as they will only try to charge my card if I’m a no show, but will otherwise never be used. Is this correct? I just want to make sure none of my dining reservations are cancelled because the card on file is no longer valid.

You'll be fine. The same thing happened to us. The compromised card number was invalidated and our credit card company sent us a card with a new number, but unless you completely close the account your ADR guarantees will still be linked to your credit card account.
