Credit Card expiration date question

If my credit card expires on 8/09 does that mean that 7/31/09 is the last day I can use it or 8/31/09 is the last day???

yours would be August 31,2009

But more than likely they will send you a new one a month before that, that is usually how it works when my cards are about to expire.
