Credit Card authorization for 3 night cruise?

Does anyone know how much they authorize on your credit card when you give it to them at the start of the cruise? This would be for a 3 night Wonder cruise.

I don't know that, but I do know that they bill your account balance to your card once it reaches $400, so my guess is they put a hold on it for at least that.

we were on the 3 night last weekend,

and they charged the card everytime it went over $200

they used to only do it at the end of the cruise,

I don't know what the hold amount is.

The last time we were at a WDW resort, I thought they put a $500 hold on the card if you wanted room card charging.

Don;'t forget if you have a low limit or choose not to use a credit card you can choose to have a cash account, guest services will call you when you reach $200 spent and ask you to pay with travellers checks / disney dollars / cash or you can pay for example $500when you board and use against purchases on kttw , if there was any change it would be reimbursed to you.

Ahh, I had totally forgotten about the cash deposit option. That may be the way to go.
