Credit card at Publix..

Just wanted to make sure they take credit cards at Publix. Trying to take as little cash as possible.
Also, I heard there was an ATM at WDW??

Yes, Publix accepts credit and debit cards.

There are Bank One ATM machines in every park at WDW and at each resort.

If I remember correctly they have the same debit/credit machines that you find at walmart and pretty much every other place these days.

I used my credit card for 90% of my purchases while at WDW. The only thing I used cash for is the vending carts. Every other place accepted credit card .

Be aware that if you are NOT a Bank One customer there is a fixed fee added for using any of the ATMs on Disney. Also, there is a chance your bank will charge a fixed fee for any transactions at ATMs that are not their bank. These fees can kill you if you do small transactions.

If you are staying at a Disney resort (or most major chain hotels) you can cash personal checks at the front desk with no fee associated.

Also Publix does take all major credit cards.

Publix also has no fee ATMs. Presto Machines, they are called.

Publix and winn dixie also allow you to use an American Express for food purchases. In the Midwest, St. Louis area most grocery stores do not take American Express.
