Credit Bureau Dispute

Has anyone ever filed a dispute with a credit bureau? I pulled a copy of my report today and my Chase credit card is showing the correct balance but it shows $0.00 for the credit limit. I verified with Chase that they haven't reduced/closed my account and they haven't. The lady at Chase said to file a dispute with the credit bureau which I did. DH checked his report as well and it was wrong as well.

Now my question is, should I check all of the credit bureaus? I hate to waste my free reports all at one time but I'm not sure if it's just a problem with Equifax or if the others are wrong as well. If they are wrong, will the information get corrected there once it's corrected by Chase with Equifax? Also, will I get a free check with Equifax once the dispute is closed so that we can verify that it's been fixed?

Thanks!

Go to Clarkhoward.com and search for this - he has a lot of information about how to go about filing disputes, etc.

It is about as easy and getting a controversial bill through congress. Fight hard.

I answered on the other thread but Chase often doesn't report limits and only they can change that.

Thanks for the information.

I'm going to call Chase again and see if the next rep tells me the same thing.
