Okay, this is reaching, but....

Anyone apply for Disney financing and know which credit bureau they pulled? Particularly if you are from NJ? (I think they pull according to which bureau is strongest in your particular state)

Equifax?
Experian?
or TransUnion?

Maybe they use all three.

You could have your guide give you the number for credit underwriting and ask them.

I have heard that Disney is easy in terms of financing and I have heard people say otherwise.

Do you know that if you put 50% down and pay off the remaining 50% within 1 yr they don't check your credit?

We asked every question related to credit when we bought. We have good credit but some nice sized student loans.

I think they shave a few pts off your score every time someon accesses your credit report.

We financed part of our DVC purchase and it's not quite paid off yet. We've recently had our credit pulled to re-finance, buy a new car, etc. (taking full advantage of those interest rates!) and our DVC mortgage didn't show up on any of the reports - I can't remember which of the credit reporting companies the reports were from.

I am almost positive that DVC doesn't show up on your credit report unless you are deliquent.

It's true. DVC does not show up on your credit report unless you are behind in payments. This is a nice perk.

They do run a credit report after you fill out the paperwork unless you do the half down/half within a year payment option.

I think that credit underwriting would have to tell you what credit bureau they use-maybe not.

I wouldn't worry too much about anything.

If you have an error on your credit report you should have it corrected. Checking your credit report at all three of the agencies once a year is a good idea. Identity fraud is a fast rising problem in our electronic world. Each agency collects and maintains separate data bases. When you get the report, get your FICO score, which is the common scoring system they use. Here is a web site that is useful for this purpose. They are the designers of the FICO scoring algorithms.
