Creative Poses with Characters? Any ideas?

When we were in Disneyland last October, our first character sightings were with the Queen of Hearts and the Old Hag. We got a picture of DS kissing the Queen of Hearts' hand and a picture of me and the Old Hag with competing menacing looks.

Bringing along a prop related to the characters' story also results in unique photos. For the meets with Baloo, I had a copy of the Jungle Book with me. Guests and CMs loved this idea and I got lots of comments on this.

I'm good friends with Donald and a few others. But specifically for Donald, anything Mickey-related (or Donald related, as he is #1) will get you a great show.

Basically, having something with the character on it will always get attention. Or buttons such as "just married", etc. Ask for a picture kissing Mickey/Minnie's nose, act like a puppet with Pinocchio, scratch behind Marie's ears, tell Pluto to chase his tail. propose to minnie.

It's always good to let the character take the lead in the interaction. After all, it is all about them, and trust me they are some smarties!

Donald is one of my Faves. I'm definately going to see if I can catch him while I'm wearing a Mickey shirt. I usually have on Donalds shirts and he loves them. If I can catch he and Daisy together I would love to see his reaction if I can get my fiance to propose to Daisy

We have a really great picture of my dh and I with mickey and minnie, it was our anniversary and they were kissing behind us and had us kiss in front of them. great pic

This is not really posed, but I really, REALLY love the candids we get with characters.

This is DD (4 at the time). We had run into the evil steps around the teacups, and walked with them clear up to the castle. Lady Tremaine and the girls interacted with DD the entire time, it was truly magical.

Getting the interaction and feeling of it all captured is so much better than a silly posed picture. Of course, we do poses too... and I love everyone's ideas... but these candid moments are the ones that always take my breath away!

My friend tried to get Princess Aurora to "fight" her for Prince Philip, but Aurora wasn't going for it.

Dh did this last year, haha, Mr. Incredible wasn't too happy about it.

Prince Naveen also got us all dancing

Ask the princesses to help you with some princess poses. They have been great with my daughter and I love those photos!
