So I have CM Memory Manager for almost a year now and just been doing the basics of auto correct/sharpening etc.

I would really like to learn how to do more fancy editing...in particular turning most of the photo black and white except for one area. For example leaving the pacifier my daughter has in her mouth pink but the rest of the photo b&w.

I have been playing around with this for awhile and cannot figure it out. Is there a more detailed instruction book somewhere??

Also can you create collages in Memory Manager? For example merge 5 or 6 photos into one 8x10? Or do I need storybook for that???

I haven't tried digital scrapbooking as I still really like the traditional way but have thought about it since my Granny likes the little books I make off snapfish for her. I think I would need to get a better computer first as mine is from 2004 with not much space.

Thanks for reading my ramblings!

Definitely check out the website, there's tons of information in there.

I haven't tried doing a collage in Memory Manager, but I'm pretty sure you have to do it in SBC. You might be able to use some of the features of the photo center as well if you check that out, maybe with the photo panel options.

As for the coloring, you would use either the wand or the outline tools to select the pacifier and then use the coloring feature to change the rest of the photo to black and white. I tried doing this with my cat and left just his eyes and nose colored. It would have looked awesome if he wasn't already in greyscale  If you need more info, just PM me. I just got my digital certification so I can hopefully answer some of your questions for you! :thumbsup2
