Creative, interesting way to capture cruise memories

I just read this month's BHandG magazine and was inspired by one of the ways they showed to remember a vacation. How about getting a nice map of the area you are cruising to and have it framed. Then place your memories-- a favorite photo, tickets to your excursion, a "trading" card (or whatever those cards are called that you get when you go to a show or event on the ship), boarding passes, tickets to Tea with Wendy, etc on top of it. Basically you are just using the map as a backdrop for your paper souveniers. They had some other ideas in the issue as well.
