I just joined another messageboard similar to the DIS, but based on my other love, which is fishing. Unfortunately, it wouldn't let me use Fishbone because it's already been taken (supposedly.... although I couldn't find the name in the user list). I registered using Fishbone. (with a period), because it let me, but my DBF (who is already a member, and encouraged me to join the site) says I should change it, because people could confuse me with the original Fishbone (of which he insists there is one). So, I'm looking for some ideas..... He suggested First Mate, but there is already a First Matie...... he also suggested Tigger, Eeyore and Pooh (because he knows I love them), but they just don't fit the fishing site. I'm going to miss being Fishbone, so I'm looking for something I can love just as much.... his name on the site is Buckshot, and I was trying to come up with Buckshot's girl or something like that, but I just don't know.....

Any clever suggestions out there??

Oh, also, I call him "Pirate", so maybe a pirate theme name???

TIA

Why not just use "Bonefish" ? It's the name of a popular restaurant here. :smooth:

Are you a woman? (I'm assuming so) :

Piratess
Dory
Aquata
Pisces
Ariel
Anteia - Greek ; wife of the sea god Proteus
Eldoris - Greek; of the sea
Evadne - Greek water nymph (mythology)
Hali - Greek ; sea ; thinking of the sea
Naida - Greek - water nymph (the ancient Greeks had a thing for water nymphs)
Nerin (or Nerita) - Greek ; from the sea
Amphitrite - Greek goddess of the sea
Baveras - fantasy sea goddess (origin unsure)
Trishina - Dolphin Goddess from a fantasy series
Umberlee - an evil undersea goddess from same series

I can't find a good listing now, but maybe take a name from a goddess of ancient Greek/Roman myth that pertains to the stories of Atlantis.

(yes, I am a great big dork who is obsessed with ancient history!)
