Creative Help - letter from Mickey?

We are telling DD when we are on the way to the airport that we are going to Disney. She thinks we are spending the weekend in Detroit.

I was going to have Mickey leave her a letter telling her she would see him for dinner that night. But is there a Mickey font I can buy or some clip are to make it seem more likely to have come from Mickey mouse himself?

There are free Disney world fonts all over the internet. Just do a google search.

Couple of ideas...you could go over the the Fairy Godmailer thread and ask someone to send her a card from Disney. Or you could go to the DISigns thread and have one of the designers make up a letter for you. OR finally you could download the Disney font online and make your own letters at the previous poster suggested. It's called Waltograph.

My friend Amy and I have been making letters for our kids using Creative Memories Storybook Plus. You can get TONS of Disney themed clipart and paper. And then we googled Free Disney fonts and found a site with lots of fonts on it.

The software is $60, but you can do so much more with it - I use it for invites, making 12x12 page prints for the walls, thank you notes, party favors, lots of stuff. THe Disney add-on is like $13, I think.

I did, and when I go to the control panel to add them to my fonts, it doesnt find them. I tried 2 diff websites.

I download it, save it to C drive, open it, go to control panel to add it to my fonts and there it doesnt find it. I wonder what I am missing,....

Forget it, this last one finally took! Thanks!!!!!

Do you have Vista??? There are different directions for Vista. Basically I had to drag the file into my font file (if that makes sense). It didn't show up on in my file folder BUT if I go to Word, it's on my list of ones to pick from (for whatever reason).

Hi. Just try the DISign section. One of the threads is for welcome signs, letters, etc. While you are at the parks this time buy some extra post cards for your next trip. My DMIL sends us postcards with our favorite characters. They tell us how many days to go, how much fun we're going to have, and how great the weather is. It's a day brightener for sure!
