I am looking for a new program to earn $/certs for our 10/03 trip, and ran across this one. Is it reliable? Do you need to spend $$ online? Does it take a long time? Sorry about all the questions! TIA!

I love Creation Rewards. The customer service is awesome! I have cashed out twice and had my Disney Dollars in less than a week. Definately worth doing, in my opinion. The points are a little slow these days (6 per day from daily visits), but they will pick up again, I am sure. Also, you can join the other site by the same owner, called Lift a Gift, where you can earn 9 visit points daily. Lift a Gift points are only redeemable for Creation Rewards points, so I guess you can really earn about 15 points per day. I hope that made sense Anyways, I highly recommend Creation Rewards, I am sure that you will enjoy it. They are very reliable.

That's a great program, it is a little slow if you're just clicking. If your trip is in October, you'll have plenty of time :p The cashout is really fast too ... I live in Canada and I got my DD$ within a week as well. I thought I wouldn't get it for a month, but I was pleasantly surprised.

CreationsRewards is the BEST! Chris is wonderful about answering emails and credits for purchases within a day of receiving your confirmation email.

He also has a forum for members on his site. If you have a question, post it there and he'll answer the same day.

I usually cashout for webbies but he also offers Disney Dollars, PayPal, checks and various GCs. Redemptions are handled very promptly.

As far as LAG is concerned, you will need to earn at least 1000 LAG points in order to transfer them to CR. Transfers are handled on a quarterly basis with the last quarter having ended Dec.30.

Right now, CR is my absolute favorite rewards program. I shop thru CR if I'm buying online and have always gotten credit. No waiting like you have to do with MyPoints. If you go to http://gptboycott.com/ and click on Seal of Approval, you will see that CR is highly regarded by most of its members.

That's one of the things I like best about CR too! You don't have to wait long for the shopping credits. Sometimes when I shop through Mypoints, not only do I have to wait but I have to go back and bug them about the credits *sigh*

Concerning LAG - I just joined and I thought that any amount of points could be transferred over to CR, not just at the 1000 point level.

Thanks for all of your postings and recommendations - I had only used Milesource prior to reading this board! I am *patiently* saving $$ so that we can go to WDW again someday *soon*....

For an extra 25 points dont sign up directly through the liftagift site....instead go to Creations and click Earn then Free Signup offers and you'll find a link to Liftagift 5th from the bottom of the first page.

Oh, double darn, I sure missed out there! It is too late now. Thanks for your suggestion. :D

Just wanted to add my endorsement too. This a great site and one of the few that I haven't had any problems with. A little slow earning right now, but very reliable

Pam

I tried this program and am very disappointed. First, you HAVE to forward the confirmation e-mails in order to be credited the points. Nowhere else do you have to do that, every other program credits your account automatically. So if you read too quickly and/or missed those specific instructions (that do not apply to all offers) and you deleted your e-mail, you lost your points!

I recently applied for an offer promising 2,500 points, and of course deleted my confirmation e-mail. Then I contacted Creation Rewards who now tell me that the sponsor wants me to buy the program in order to get the points. NOWHERE on the website did it say that and now the sponsor site has my personal information as part of a trial offer!

I sent another e-mail from a second company that I missed the forwarding of the first e-mail, confirming I had registered. Now he wants me to pile up 200 pts in that sponsor's website before he grants me the rewards!

So, my experience was negative. My last e-mail told him that I was disappointed and considering canceling my membership because I felt the ads involving my complaints weren't clear enough or deceptive.

I'll just stick to My Points and Blink...

Wow! You've certainly had your problems and I can see why you are soured on CR. Sorry to read about them. I have never had anything but positive experiences with Chris.

If you don't mind, could you fill us in on the names of the offers that didn't work out for you? I'd like to avoid them if I can.

Creationsrewards and mypoints are the only two programs I do. Yes, you have to wait for mypoints shopping to be credited, but then mypoints Webcertificates come MUCH faster!... so, in my mind, it kind of balances out. But I do agree that Creationsrewards customer service is wonderful!

CR was great at crediting my points for shopping and trial offers this year. Its become habit to send in the confirmations as soon as they were received to get credit. I've had problems with other sites that supposedly track your signups "losing" them and not getting credit at those unless I forward the emails....especially at MyPoints.

Yes, It was Grocery Biz. I even e-mailed the program several times requesting that e-mail or some confirmation be sent to me, so I could forward it and they never replied. I am going further, I am actually sending a notification to the Better Business Bureau and my local consumer protection agency because Grocery Biz requested my social security number in order to get that free trial, and then backed off and claimed I had to buy their program in order to give me those points. NOWHERE did I read I'd have to actually buy the program in order to get points, I understood I'd get them as an affiliate. But then, it all goes back to not forwarding those e-mails! Grocery Biz, to this day, never even replied to my e-mails.

Cajun, I know what you mean but I never dealt with a site requiring the messages to be forwarded before the creditation took place. It would be natural to assume that they'd do it automatically. Then when you belong to several programs, it is hard to keep track of who is coming from Creations Rewards!
I have been able to cash over 10,000 points with My points and in one instance my reward never arrived. But every time I disputed points they just credited my account. I am not defending any rewards program over another, neither employs me. I am just sharing a negative experience as a warning like many guests often share theirs, as a heads up.
