Creating Birthday Magic

Hi. My kids will be celebrating their 8th birthday in WDW next month. We will be there Tuesday-Sunday and their birthday is on that Friday. I'm trying to think of how to celebrate (above and beyond just being there)! I looked into Disney Floral but the birthday package seems really expensive for what you get.

I'm not sure if I should do a little something each day or maybe somehow have the room quickly decorated while we are at breakfast on their birthday.

Anyone have any fun ideas? Thanks!

You can get a cake delivered to the room or pick them up at a various locations. Although I personally think it might be more of an experience to do something like the Pirates and Pals Firework Voyage or the other Firework Dessert Party they have at MK. You can also have them go to Bippidity Boppity Booutique or the pirate's makeover.....tea with the princesses or dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table....what do your kids like?

They are into pin trading now. Maybe a pin each day? We will be with friends and have everything boooked already.

We had a box of gifts shipped down prior to our trip once and set up our own surprise in the room. We got a great deal on some things like the giant stuffed Minnie and Mickey and a bunch of little figurines and stuff and the kids were super excited to come back from the parks and find it all set up in our room.

We have also ordered a number of cakes over the years and will be doing the same for my son's 9th birthday when we go next month. You can have it delivered at certain restaurants or to your room, depending on your resort. And you can go with simple cakes or more complex designs using favorite characters, rides, etc.
