Creating a VMK Wiki....

WEll i was looking at it, and why dont we creat a wiki for VMK.

For those who dont know the wiki is something like an encyclopedia that anybody can edit. We can create one at www.wiki.com and it could be vmk.wiki.com or to avoid the non association to the game itself be disvmk.wiki.com for us at the dis. We can enter information about the dictionary, the items, if there extinct or not, if they can bought or not, rooms, events, updates, third-party tools, cool screenshots, pages about players and their pins. I havent really used the wiki.com before so i might have to check to see how much use it could be. But i think it would be helpful, especially to those who want to see if something is rare or not, if its quest item, or some info about the games or promotions.

I wonder in some some people could change the thing once in neopets a hacker hacked the neopet system and they were callled chaos or how ever it's spelled and they kept saying bad stuff and wrong stuff on there

There are people from VMKM who already came up with the idea to make and to update the VMK wiki constatly

I would think so, but the website i was looking at isnt that good or as organized as wikipedia. But i want to see that, got a link?

wikipedia does have a fairly nice entry for vmk that is surprizingly very up-to-date. i've seen a couple of other wiki's about VMK, but i don't know the urls. you have a good idea, though, in that a wiki could be created specifically for dis that has information taylored to the needs of the people on this board and be personalized to include pictures and stuff.

Yea i looked that up, its really good but its only a page. I'm looking into something.


Ok. I found the exact site that im looking for. But what the problem is that its a download (in a .tar.gz package) that needs to be uploaded to a website first. So if any of the mods would think to put this package on the website for the VMK section and letting us update it and such it would be really cool.

What we could do is have the disboards.com and add a subdomain of diswmk.disboards.com and have the wiki upload under that. But dont take my word seriously im just but a boy who know a bit too much.

anyways, i kinda find it weird that anyone can edit those pages. i edited a page on the kingdom keepers once (with correct information mind you), but you could easily put opinion-ated junk onto the page...............
