My 3 DD's just made their own ear hats last week - I recall thinking they ended up being a dollar more than the pre-made ones. I don't have any good pictures of them, but there were many to choose from. Youngest DD got a pink one with pink fur trim and the ears were both pink fur, middle DD got a pink lace covered hat with black ears that had pink prism like shapes in the 'mickey ear' formation themselves, then oldest DD got a traditional black one with ears that had fireworks on them. They had tons of options (from glow in the dark ones to character ones) and the ears just snap on (flaw here is that they snap off easy too). It was oldest DD's bday so they gave her name embroidery for free! Otherwise it was $7 I believe. They also have patches that they can iron on - one DD got a princess crown on the front of hers - I think they were around $3.50 each.

Regarding the make your own pins- the only think I saw was where you buy the pin base and add magnetic numbers, sayings, etc. - but knew that it probably wouldn't work for us - I was afraid of the magnets falling off - maybe someone can provide more detail on this.....

I am intrigued!!! Thanks ...hopefully yes someone else can provide more info...

and PHOTOS!!!!!

I agree...pictures please?

Also, is this in the Magic Kingdom or DTD?

CAn you get a mickey graduation hat made? I am class of 2010 and wont be back at disney until after graduation but would love to have the mickey hat for graduation time at school. Im sure you could buy a 2009 one on sale but i either want a generic one or 2010 one

We got ours at the Le Chapeau hat shop in the town square at MK (just to the right after you pass the flag pole). We went briefly to DTD and I didn't see a hat shop there - doesn't mean there isn't one - there is too much to see there!

Sorry - I didn't notice any graduations hats (again - there were so many choices and I wasn't looking for that) but think you could have them custom make something for you.

Me too! Noone has made their own Mickey Ears? Or taken a pic of the station to do it???

We were at Magic Kingdom tonight and the build your own ears are away until after Halloween according to 2 cm's.

The kids are all looking forward to the make-your-own Mickey ears but I hadn't head of the pins. I'd love more details on that!

We made our own ears in February. They are really cute. They do work out more expensive, but then they are personalized so it is worth it.

The stickers are stuck on and then a heat iron is used to secure them in place, they aren't coming off at all. The ears stay on with poppers (like baby clothes) and are pretty secure, we have one ear that comes undone on one popper (there are 2 on each ear) but we never had the ear completely fall off.

Each of my kids got the beanie, ears, their name embroidered and 2 stickers and it was about $15 each. We did ours at DTD.

I'll try to find the photos.

To my understanding, no. Unless they recently added the graduation ears; the only way you could get those was to complete the Disney College Program.

Thanks for posting the video. We are going to be doing this on our trip! My kids will LOVE it!!!

That's a shame. I will be at WDW from October 10th to October 19th and I had promised myself that I would finally make myself some ears.
