I just discovered we aren't getting our ME tags and we leave 1 week from today. I viewed sample luggage tags online and created my own, stating "Tags not received" where the barcode would be. I made them yellow with a green Mickey head at the top and included our resort code (BCV), resort name, our names, arrival date, and reservation # on them. I plan to seal them in packing tape (like lamination). Do you think this will help the baggage handlers see it? :confused3

I still plan to take my baggage claim tix to the DME desk when we arrive. Any help is appreciated.

That is a lot of work. If you give them the baggage claim numbers and a description they will find your bags with no problem.

Your handmade ME baggage tag facsimile could help due to its conspicuousness, not due to its resemblance. Actually a ME tag facsimile could hinder locating the baggage because the baggage could already be in the pile destined for Disney while baggage handlers sent in your behalf Re looking on the carousel.

Others have suggested things like brightly colored ribbons, large letters or digits, etc.
