Create a personalized Disney video...coolest thing!!!!

OMG! How much fun. I just got done sending it to myself 5 different ways. My name, my last name (has my first name) and "family" in place of my last name, for various diffentent events/holidays.
WOW, how fun!!!
Thank you so much for sharing

OMG goofy said my name! ahh!! thats SO cool! AWESOMENESS!!!!

Goofy said you name, how did you get him to do that? maybe I need to try a more original name than mine. Maybe I will go try DH (MIKE). All Goofy said when I did my name and then Last name (as First) and Family as last is "if our GUEST does not arrive"

Off to try....

ok, I got Goofy to say "Michael" HOW FUN!
And now that I have watched the video 5 times, I finally saw the turkey leg thing...ha ha
LOVE IT!!

Just put your first name in. Then he'll say it.

I was surprised. I sent it to DBF and Goofy said Jesus! (Hey-sus! not Geezus!!) Good job, Goofy!!!! :thumbsup2

Haha that was awesome, I put my GF's name on it. Goofy even said her name at the end. :)

He won't say my name- just "our special guest". Perhaps if I spelled it in the more traditional way...

My video started off okay, and my name was showing up in all the right places, but then the video would lock up or the audio would stop for a second (that is likely due to my bad computer) and go silent. Then it popped on again right at the moment when Goofy said, "If Sherry doesn't show up..." So I missed chunks of it. One of the friends I sent it to already e-mailed back and said that her first name was "missing" in some places, but not in others. Hmmmm... well, I guess it is not an exact, perfect science but it sure is a cool idea!!! I bet kids will LOVE that!

I wonder how long they will allow people to make those videos and keep them. I mean, if we embed the video link into a blog or something, will that video play forever?

I've sent this to a few people, and I think it's really cool. Anyone else a little disappointed that it's only for the Magic Kingdom in WDW and not DLR? To some people it wouldn't be obvious, but us seasoned veterans know the difference.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed to see that it was the Magic Kingdom. It seems like WDW gets all the attention. But, even though it wasn't DLR, I was happy that they didn't blatently point out that it was WDW so at least they kept it subtle.

That video is too cool - kids loved it (so did I)
DS even started singing the new version of IASW with our name in it...

Did you read the "news" items on the page? Dog frees pirates from jail, and so on. :rotfl:

I got a kick out of those, too.

Thanks so much for posting this, I had a lot of fun sending it to people.
My son actually thought it was real, but meant for someone else with the same name as his!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I couldn't get it to work with the updated code on the page after the video played, but I from that page I emailed it to myself, than coped and pasted THAT link into Facebook.

posted this on my blog. it's really cool but.... once again it shows disney's lack of marketing ability. this was supposed to be part of the celebrate marketing campaign but why didn't everyone who has ever signed onto Disney.com get this? What about all those peope they said signed up already and registered thier birthday's?? Supposedly they have already had record numbers sign up before the official lauch..If it wasn't for this post i would have never known this exsisted. They paid the company to do it as a marketing plan but they don't use it correctly...:confused3 :confused3

I was sent the link today by Disney Destinations with the subject "Annual Passholder: What will you celebrate?", so maybe they're rolling it out slowly, making sure the technology works.
